JRN CONCRETE

I work with concrete, steel, and glass--materials that are familiar and commonplace to all.  By molding, forming, and then partially destroying my sculptures, I give them an aged look and a soul.

My work evokes elements of nature, archaeology, and the work ethic of ancient times.  I use industrial materials to create what I feel are fossils of used cities, but also fossils that are imbued with a sense of belonging in the natural world.
